Igniting Innovation, Empowering Entrepreneurs.
The Startup World Cup, one of the world’s most significant global pitch contest conferences, has been organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures since 2017. The competition is designed to serve as a bridge between innovative startups, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and tech CEOs worldwide. By participating, startups get an opportunity to secure funding from investors, network with corporations and celebrities, and boost their profile both regionally and globally.
Over 100 regional events are held across six continents every Cup, culminating in a grand finale where the winner secures a $1M investment prize, global exposure, and other rewards (e.g. free legal service) from sponsors. Regional events are critical gateways for local startups, enabling them to make their mark on the global stage by pitching their ideas to an international audience.
The Tokyo Regional 2024 was held last July 19 at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, a venue that reflects the event’s commitment to excellence and innovation. The event consisted of five unique segments. The Sponsor Exhibition and Startup Exhibition, held from 11am to 8pm, as well as the Sponsor Stage, which took place from 12pm to 2pm, were open to visitors free of charge. The main event, the Pitch Contest, held from 3pm to 7pm, and the Networking Party, which followed the Pitch Contest and lasted until 8pm, were both exclusive for the ticket holders only.
Kenja K.K. was among the many exhibitors at the Tokyo Regional, holding demonstrations to introduce Kenja AI. The solution, which is both cost-effective and easy-to-deploy, boasts an AI that can be trained on a local corpus, ensuring accuracy and secure collaboration. As articulated by Kenja’s Founder and CEO, Ted Katagi, the solution serves as “Your private AI that gives an accurate and secure answer based only on what you upload.”
