Kenja’s Due Diligence platform is an enterprise solution designed to fully support the entire due diligence process with special emphasis on collaboration. It boasts Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ACL rights, and IP whitelisting features alongside ISO 27001 certification, ANAB ISO/IEC 17021 accreditation, and NIST 1.1 compliance.

Due Diligence is a systematic process undertaken to analyze facts and mitigate risks before moving forward with any transaction. It ensures proper understanding and evaluation through the verification of known facts and discovery of previously-unknown knowledge. Consultants of various professions such as venture capitalists, private equity investors, compliance officers, bankers and lawyers are typically involved in the process to secure well-rounded information.

High expenses and lengthy time periods are expected factors of the process due to the challenge of information gathering and sharing. For this purpose, Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) are commonly used as an online repository to store and distribute documents. However, VDR critically lacks a feature for collaboration between the many parties involved (i.e. consultants, buyers, and sellers) and thus necessitates the use of external means to exchange messages (e.g. email).

To resolve this issue, Kenja developed a multi-functional platform that would offer full-process support for wind power due diligence. The platform must perform the secure repository function of VDR for seamless information exchange and be a more efficient messaging tool than emails for smoother collaboration, tasking and reviewing.

Kenja’s Due Diligence, an enterprise solution, is a platform that stores and shares documents in rooms, each of which are protected by unique ACL rights. Authorized users are identified by Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) while known unauthorized parties are restricted by IP whitelisting. These security measures allow administrators to safely grant access to the same set of documents with multiple potential buyers without the risk of unauthorized access.

For seamless collaboration, the platform offers advanced project management tools with tasking and commenting functions as well as the Published Rooms feature for easy and secure data sharing with external partners. Creation, re-upload, and other modifications to content are also time and user stamped for identification. All of these ensure transparency, traceability, and accountability in the due diligence process.

The platform also abides to the highest available standards to ensure overall quality and security. It is certified with ISO 27001 for adhering to the international standards of information security management systems (ISMS). It is ANAB ISO/IEC 17021 accredited to indicate observance of ISO standards. And, it is compliant with the NIST 1.1 cybersecurity framework which helps with cybersecurity risk management, network protection and data protection.
