Our CEO presented The Visual Trust Layer at the GBBC Virtual Member’s Forum
Following his appointment as a GBBC Ambassador for Japan last February, Kenja K.K.’s CEO, Ted Katagi, spoke at the Virtual Member’s Forum hosted by the Global Business Blockchain Council, on March 24, 2022.
During his presentation, Ted shed light on the recent growth of Kenja and their solution: the Visual Trust Layer. He described the driving force of the development of Kenja’s solution being rooted in the lack of user-friendly blockchain solutions that provided clear value for non-IT consumers. Moreover, he explained that central authorities are essential stakeholders and should not be made redundant by the decentralization often advocated by blockchain technology.
To give a clear example of a use case of the blockchain-enabled platform, he dived into the recent partnership with two of the biggest Halal auditing bodies in Indonesia and the ways Kenja streamlines their certification processes. This use case also proves the necessity to include central authorities in blockchain ecosystems. Indeed, it fosters trust among consumers who are often more sensitive to labels backed by authorities rather than pages of ISO standards.
Ted went on to show the functionalities of Kenja Rooms, from its holistic security to its external sharing capabilities. The platform was demonstrated as both intuitive and easy to integrate with current systems.
The forum ended with a Q&A session led by Mercina Tilleman, Chief Operating Officer at GBBC.
